THE BAG IN BOX
The Bag in Box is an innovative packaging, designed and developed to improve the storage, transport and mix of bulk wine.
The pack consists of an “external” box, made of cardboard, which encloses and protects a polyethylene bag used for storing wine (or other liquids or semi-liquids). It is a material of the highest quality that does not interfere with the nature of the product contained within it.
Outside the bag, there is the tap that comes out of the box through a special opening and adjusts the wine flow avoiding direct contact with the outside air. In this way, we eliminate the risk of oxidation of the product and its shelf life and quality are increased.
The bag is filled to the maximum of its capacity, and as it gets empty, it “adapts” to the contents to prevent air from reaching the product.
WHY BUY IT?
Longer product life compared to high containers on the market: from 6 to 12 months of storage with the product still packed at 4-5 weeks from the opening of the product.
The first glass is as good as the last one!
Unlike the classic glass bottle, the product maintains its organoleptic properties until “the bottom” … until the last drop.
Lower cost compared to classic glass bottling.
4. PRACTICALITY AND COMFORT
Practical for transport, for storage (even directly in the fridge), and for mixing.
It is composed of fully recyclable material.
BOTTLING AND WINNING FEATURES
From the cistern, the wine is microfiltered and passes into a special machine that conveys the wine through the pipes. Then, we insert the bag so that wine cannot encounter with air.
At the end of the process, the bag is stored inside its own “box”.
Our wine is thus preserved by:
- excessive overheating caused by sunlight;
- thermal excursions;
- impacts or accidents, especially during the transport phase.
It is forbidden to manually fill the bags. In this way, you can’t eliminate bacterial charge, and the product would immediately come into contact with air and external agents. It would also result in a shorter product life (about 2 weeks).
